This course is for all staff who may support individuals who are neurodivergent, including autistic individuals. It is available for both internal and external organisations.

Overview
Neurodiversity relates to the idea that individuals interact with and experience the world around them in different ways and there is no single ‘correct’ way of thinking, behaving and learning. These differences are not to be seen as deficits.

Outcomes
By using clips, quotes and case histories, you will understand the impact on the individual and how services and support may need to be adjusted to be person-centred. You will gain understanding around communication to sensory engagement of neurodivergent individuals in the world around them.
