Citywide Commitment: What Makes Us Different, Makes Us Leeds
Leeds City Council’s anti‑discrimination campaign, What Makes Us Different, Makes Us Leeds, reinforces the city’s commitment to build a stronger Leeds, which challenges harmful attitudes and celebrates the city’s diverse population.
It addresses a wide range of discrimination including racism, misogyny, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, religious discrimination, ageism and ableism.
Discrimination, prejudice, and hate crime still affect lots of people, so we need to work together to support everyone to feel welcome, safe and respected in our city.
